Self-bio-hacking refers to the practice of using various techniques, such as supplements and hormones, to improve physical and mental performance and achieve specific health goals. Some common goals of self-bio-hacking include anti-aging, muscle-building, longevity, and overall health.

One group of compounds commonly used for self bio-hacking are selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs). SARMs are compounds that bind to androgen receptors in the body, similar to testosterone and other anabolic steroids, but with fewer negative side effects. SARMs have been shown to have muscle-building and fat-loss effects, as well as potential anti-aging benefits. However, the long-term safety and effectiveness of SARMs are not yet fully understood, and they are not currently approved for use by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Examples of SARMs include Ostarine (MK-2866), which has been shown to increase muscle mass and strength, and Andarine (S-4), which has been shown to increase muscle mass and bone density. Broadly speaking (and from my own personal research) self bio-hacking using compounds such as SARMs, peptides, and HRT has the potential to provide a range of benefits for muscle-building, fat-loss, anti-aging, and overall health. However, it is important to carefully consider the potential risks and side effects of these compounds, as well as the lack of long-term safety and effectiveness data.
